Who We Are
Poetry Heals provides therapeutic writing classes to many vulnerable populations, including institutionalized, LGBTQIA2+, and homeless youth, adults in addiction recovery and/or exiting homelessness, and low-income children. Thanks to grant funding and individual donors, trained writing mentors can work with writers at no cost to the client. Poetry Heals collaborates with many community organizations in the Pikes Peak Region, serving people in need throughout El Paso County, Colorado.
